Steve,
Thanks for the reply. I don't know of any local church that isn't or hasn't been affected by sin. May those who have been hurt find healing in the cross of Christ and comfort in the Holy Spirit. We are all great sinners in need of a greater Savior. May we all keep our eyes on Jesus and encourage each other from drifting away.
John
These blogs have been a source of healing for a lot of people that have been hurt by Sovereign Grace Ministries leadership. The hurt people reading the blogs find comfort knowing they weren't the only ones being hurt. There appears to be a dichotomy between what the leadership says and presents themselves as in this group vs. their actions.
Yes there will always be some but the number of cases that you hear reported sure seems quite high. One would think that SGM leadership would be working toward reconciliation with the people they have hurt like this but I see little if no evidence of this happening.
At least with these blogs the leadership can no longer do things they have done in the past with the impunity they use to have.
