He will rest in his love.

The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. 1

It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the LORD set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but it is because the LORD loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers, that the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 2

We love because he first loved us. 3

And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, 4

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 5

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 6

and behold, a voice from heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." 7

For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 8

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 9
