I beseech thee, show me thy glory

Bagster's Daily Light - February 12 - Evening

I beseech thee, show me thy glory.

Moses said, "Please show me your glory." 1

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known. 3

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? 4

You have said, "Seek my face." My heart says to you, "Your face, LORD, do I seek." 5

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. 6

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 7
