Bagster's Daily Light - February 17 - Evening
God created man in his own image.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 1
Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. 2
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved-- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. 3
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 4
Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 5
As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness. 6
The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 7
and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. 8
