... the likeness as the appearance of a man

Bagster's Daily Light - February 13 - Morning

... the likeness as the appearance of a man.

And above the expanse over their heads there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire; and seated above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearance. 1

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 2

but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 3

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 4

and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. 5

We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 6

Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 7

that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 8

For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 9

For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God. 10
