The judgment seat

Bagster's Daily Light - February 5 - Evening

The judgment seat.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. 1

We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. 2

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 3

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. 4

Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died--more than that, who was raised--who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. 5

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 6

But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world. 7
