Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example...

For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.  1

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all.  2

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.  3

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.  4

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  6

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. 8

whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. 9

looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. 10
