Daily Light Devotions - June 8 - Morning


The LORD made all that he did to prosper ...

His master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD caused all that he did to succeed in his hands.  1

A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. 2

Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 3

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." 4

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 5

He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God, and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper. 6

"Take care lest you forget the LORD your God by not keeping his commandments and his rules and his statutes, which I command you today, Beware lest you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.'  7

"Is not the LORD your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the LORD and his people.  8
