The accuser of our brethren is cast down ...

And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. 1 

Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died-- more than that, who was raised-- who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. 2 

He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. 3 

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. 4 

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 5 

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 6 

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 7
