A God of truth, ... just and right is he.

"The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he. 1 

When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. 2 

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. 3 

So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. 4 

Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins shall die. 5 

"Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands next to me," declares the LORD of hosts. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones. 6 

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned-- every one-- to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 

Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. 8 

For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. 9 

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 10 

Declare and present your case; let them take counsel together! Who told this long ago? Who declared it of old? Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no other god besides me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none besides me. 11 

whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 12
