Lift up our hearts with our hands unto God ...

Let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven: 1 

Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high, who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? 2

Of David. To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. 3 

I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah Answer me quickly, O LORD! My spirit fails! Hide not your face from me, lest I be like those who go down to the pit. Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. 4 

Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. 5 

Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. 6 

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 7
