Give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name! 1 

Behold, God puts no trust in his holy ones, and the heavens are not pure in his sight; how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks injustice like water! 2 

Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes; how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!" 3 

"Who is like you, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders? 4 

And one called to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!" 5 

but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy." 6 

For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. 7 

If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. 8 

Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 9 

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 10
