Let us consider one another ...

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 1 

How forceful are upright words! But what does reproof from you reprove? 2 

This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 3 

Then those who feared the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name. 4 

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 5 

Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." 6 

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! 7 

Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. 8 

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 9
