I pray God ... you may be preserved blameless

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. 2

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. 3

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 4

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. 5

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. 6

who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7
