Let not the sun go down upon your wrath.

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 1

"If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven. 2

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses." 3

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 4

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. 5

The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!" 6
