We have turned every one to his own way.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned--every one--to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 1

Noah began to be a man of the soil, and he planted a vineyard. He drank of the wine and became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent. 2

When he was about to enter Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, "I know that you are a woman beautiful in appearance, Say you are my sister, that it may go well with me because of you, and that my life may be spared for your sake." 3

Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, to know whether you are really my son Esau or not." He said, "Are you really my son Esau?" He answered, "I am." 4

They angered him at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account, for they made his spirit bitter, and he spoke rashly with his lips. 5

So the men took some of their provisions, but did not ask counsel from the LORD. And Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them, to let them live, and the leaders of the congregation swore to them. 6

because David did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite. 7

And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, 8

and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 9

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned--every one--to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 10

It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord GOD; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel. 11
