Baster's Daily Light - January 16 - Morning

... That in him should all fulness dwell.

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 1

The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 2

Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 3

far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 4

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. 5
For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. 6

and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. 7

And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. 8
