The woman's seed shall bruise thy head ...

I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel." 1

As many were astonished at you-- his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind-- 2

But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 3

When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness." 4

Jesus answered him, "You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin." 5

Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 6

And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him. 7

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 8

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 9

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. 10
