They ... will put their trust in thee ...

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you. 1

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. 2

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation." 3

I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. 4

For the LORD loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. 5

For the LORD will not forsake his people, for his great name's sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you a people for himself. 6

He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. 7

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?" 8
