Lord, that I may receive my sight

Bagster's Daily Light - January 3 - Evening

Lord, that I may receive my sight.

"What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, let me recover my sight." 1

Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. 2

Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 3

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 4

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. 5

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 6
