The entrance of thy words giveth light.

The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. 1

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 2

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 4

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 5

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. 6

Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 7

for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 8

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 9
