He preserveth the way of his saints.
guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints. 1
Yet in spite of this word you did not believe the LORD your God, who went before you in the way to seek you out a place to pitch your tents, in fire by night and in the cloud by day, to show you by what way you should go. 2
Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that flutters over its young, spreading out its wings, catching them, bearing them on its pinions, the LORD alone guided him, no foreign god was with him. 3
The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand. 4
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. 5
for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. 6
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 7
With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles." And the people took confidence from the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. 8
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. 9
