Daily Light Devotions - March 10 - Evening

He feedeth among the lilies.

My beloved is mine, and I am his; he grazes among the lilies. 1

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." 2

Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 3

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 4

Awake, O north wind, and come, O south wind! Blow upon my garden, let its spices flow. Let my beloved come to his garden, and eat its choicest fruits. 5

I came to my garden, my sister, my bride, I gathered my myrrh with my spice, I ate my honeycomb with my honey, I drank my wine with my milk. Eat, friends, drink, and be drunk with love! 6

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 7

By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 8

filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. 9
