The love that God hath to us

... The love that God hath to us.

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 1 

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved-- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 2 

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 3 

He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 4 

The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. 5 

We love because he first loved us. 6 

And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord." 7
